Quality Food Processing & Catering Services, a newly inaugurated division of Quality Group of Companies, has opened its service facilities in Wukair.
In line with the company’s strategy to address the growing demand for availability of fresh, high-quality, ready-to-consume food in the country, Shamsudheen Olakara, chairman of Quality Group International, formally inaugurated the new facility at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The function was hosted in the presence of senior managers from Quality Group of Companies, Quality Group International and other officials.
Built on a 40,000sq ft area, the new central kitchen “boasts of a world-class team of highly trained professionals, comprising expert chefs and cooks who can prepare sumptuous Continental, Oriental, Arabic and Asian cuisines”, the company said in a press statement.
Also included in the chef’s team are pastry chefs who are equipped with the “skills and techniques required to create lusciously-baked and designed cakes plus Arabic sweets and pastries”.
“The new kitchen is fully fitted with the latest equipment for addressing food processing and catering needs in Qatar. The food processing facility offers benefits in terms of preservation and food consistency. In addition, it increases the availability of different types of food and enables the transportation of delicate, perishable items over long distances,” the statement explained.
“The inauguration of our state-of-the-art facility in Wukair complements our vision of expanding the company’s presence. It is also a testimony to our commitment to offer best-quality and delectable foods prepared in a highly hygienic and sanitised environment in compliance with local regulations,” the chairman said in the statement.
The operations team is “adept at providing a wide and nutritious variety of foods with international service as well as equipment use, which will satisfy the most demanding needs”, the statement adds.“We are equipped with a modern and efficient system, which is on a par with international standards.”
Quality Food Processing & Catering Services currently offers its services for all Quality retail outlets, camp accommodation services, events and exhibitions, catering and hotels.
