HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing yesterday.
HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani expressed satisfaction over the path and development of bilateral relations, particularly after the signing of the strategic partnership agreement between Qatar and China in November 2014, with HE the foreign minister stressing the State of Qatar’s commitment to partnership with China and developing and activating that partnership.
He also expressed his aspiration to raise the level of strategic partnership between the State of Qatar and the People’s Republic of China.
The two sides also expressed their desire to sign a memorandum of understanding soon between Qatar Tourism Authority of the State of Qatar and the National Tourism Administration of the People’s Republic of China to facilitate trips by groups of Chinese tourists to the State of Qatar.
