Vodafone is continuing to work towards the remaining restoration of 4G services as soon as possible, the company said in a press release.
On Monday July 17, Vodafone Qatar experienced a major network outage with its Home Location Register (HLR), a key hardware component of its core network.
The equipment failure took place during a network upgrade and extended to the network back-up and redundancy systems.
The entire Vodafone Qatar team with the support of experts from Vodafone Group is working around the clock to restore full connectivity across the network.
Vodafone is a Qatari shareholding company that is a contributor and a member of Vodafone International Group, the second licence holder for public mobile networks and services and the second licensee for fixed line networks and services in Qatar.
