Representatives of the Pakistani community in Qatar visited the Gulf Times office and met with the Editor-in-Chief Faisal Abdulhameed al-Mudahka yesterday.
The Pakistani representatives included Riyaz Ahmed Bakali, Community president, Ahmed Hussain, Welfare Forum president, Mohammad Idrees Anwer, Business Forum president, Rashid Rafiq Butt, Pakistan Muslim Welfare League president (N) and Habib Ullah Sheikh, Community co-ordinator.
During the meeting, they discussed the active role of the Pakistani community with regard to the Pakistani business activities in Qatar.
The representatives extended their full support to Qatar, expressing their appreciation, gratitude, and solidarity with the host country. They also presented the Ajrak (blockprinted shawl from Pakistan) to al-Mudahka.
The chief editor welcomed the visit of the representatives and appreciated the local Pakistani community’s stance on the blockade of Qatar.
