This has  been done, in view of requests made by members of the Indian community, the Indian embassy in Qatar has said.
Following the review, it has been decided that students belonging to the CIWG category and taking admissions in the undergraduate programmes of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) under the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme will pay a tuition fee of Rs1,25,000 per student per annum either in Indian rupees or equivalent US dollars at existing exchange rates, the embassy said in a statement yesterday.
