The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has called upon Muslims in Qatar to sight the new crescent moon (hilal) of Shawwal tomorrow evening, the 29th Ramadan 1438AH corresponding to June 24. The committee asks whoever witnesses the crescent to head to the headquarters of the Ministry, located in Al Dafna Towers to report his testimony. The committee will meet immediately after Maghreb prayer.
