Advisory Council
discusses draft law
on real estate

The Advisory Council yesterday held its regular weekly session during its 45th ordinary session under the chairmanship of HE the Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi. 
At the outset, HE the Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak al-Khayareen read out the agenda, which was approved.
The Council then ratified the minutes of the previous meeting.
The Council discussed the report of the Services and Public Utilities Committee on a draft law amending some provisions of Law No 4 of 2008 on the rental of real estate and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet.
The Council also discussed the report of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee on a draft law amending some provisions of the Advocacy Law issued by Law No 23 of 2006.
The Council decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet.

Slovenia’s State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Darja Bavdaz Kuret received a copy of the credentials of Qatar’s ambassador Sheikh Ali bin Jabor al-Thani in Ljubljana yesterday.
The Slovenian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs wished the ambassador success in his mission and  the bilateral relations between the two countries further development.
For his part, the Sheikh Ali bin Jabor al-Thani expressed keenness to enhance bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and Slovenia.

Foreign Minister of Benin Aurelien Agbenonci has met Qatar’s ambassador Mohamed bin Jaber al-Kuwari in Cotonou. 
They discussed ways of developing bilateral relations in addition to a number of issues of mutual concern.
