The campaign resulted in the partial destruction of 1,699 animal carcasses, and full destruction of 21 other carcasses, as their meat was found to be unfit for human consumption.
The beauty salons unit conducted 138 inspection visits on related facilities.
Similarly, Al Rayyan Municipality’s Al Karana office conducted 92 inspection visits during the same period, during which two violation reports were issued, 10 abandoned vehicles spotted and removed, nine other violations registered with unidentified sources and seven excavation certificates issued.
