Ibn Ajayan Trophy Ramadan T20 Cricket Tournament starts today

Ibn Ajayan Projects (IAP) will hold its Ramadan T20 Cricket Tournament under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Sports from today until June 28 at the Asian Town cricket stadium.
This is the third consecutive year that Ibn Ajayan Projects is organising the Ramadan T20 cricket tournament at Asian Town. This time, the company is holding the tournament in association with QECC and Qbizz Events.
The tournament features 16 teams spread across four groups and there will be a total of 31 matches. There will one match per day at 8.30 pm throughout the month except on Thursdays, when three will be two matches - at 7.30 pm and 10.30 pm.
Mohamed bin Mahdi bin Ajayan al-Ahbabi, chairman of Ibn Ajayan Projects, said: “This is a Ramadan gift from Ibn Ajayan Projects for all cricket lovers in the country.

Ibn Ajayan Projects manages the Asian Town and Labour City workers’ accommodation projects in Qatar.
