The 68th meeting of the Committee of Governors of Monetary Institutions and Central Banks of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries was held in Riyadh yesterday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the GCC. HE Governor of the Qatar Central Bank Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud al-Thani took part in the meeting. The committee discussed a number of topics, including the recommendations of committees and working teams on the payment systems in the GCC states. The meeting also discussed several working papers on the latest monetary and financial developments in the GCC states and exchanged views on them.
