International Bank of Qatar (IBQ) has received several awards during the Banker Middle East Industry Awards 2017 held recently in Dubai.
During the event, IBQ was recognised with the ‘Best Private Bank in Qatar’ and ‘Best Customer Service in Qatar’, in addition to the ‘Best PR/CSR/Marketing Campaign in Qatar’ awards. The ‘Banker of The Year’ was awarded to IBQ managing director Omar Bouhadiba.
IBQ Marketing and Corporate Communications manager Myriam Abou Haidar received the Best PR/CSR/Marketing Campaign in Qatar award for the IBQ testimonials campaign. This is the first accolade awarded to IBQ in the fields of public relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, and marketing from the Banker Middle East Awards.
Over the past 60 years, IBQ has built a distinctive reputation for being the leading customer-centric bank in the market, staying true to its brand values and strong brand positioning of a ‘relationship bank’. IBQ said the bank’s reputation “shines through its dedication in elevating and further enhancing its financial products and services.”
