A temporary closure will begin on Saturday in both directions of the part of the road between Al Khor Hospital roundabout and Ras Imlaiji area.
The closure will last until the middle of next month. During the period, vehicles coming from Al Khor Hospital roundabout and going towards Ras Imlaigi area can use the alternative road connected to Al Thakhira Road (as shown on the map).
The temporary closure is being done to ensure construction works as part of Ashghal’s projects that aim to improve and enhance the network of local roads and expressways and improve traffic safety across the country, Ashghal added in a statement.
