Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani participated in the 143rd GCC Ministerial Council Session, which was held yesterday, at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting was chaired by Minister of Foreign 
Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohamed al-Khalifah, president of the current session of the GCC Ministerial Council, in the presence of GCC Secretary General Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani. The foreign ministers discussed the preparations for the consultative meeting of the GCC leaders to be held in Riyadh, the GCC-US Summit, and the Arab-American-Islamic Summit, which will be hosted by Riyadh on May 21, during the visit of US President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia. The ministers also reviewed a number of reports on the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Council, as well as the reports submitted by the ministerial committees and the secretariat, and the topics related to the strategic dialogue between the GCC countries and other nations.
