Oryx GTL staff recently collaborated with their colleagues in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) for the Turtle Beach Clean-Up Campaign.
Qatar Petroleum organised the campaign and invited all companies and contractors in RLIC to participate in cleaning the northern beach of Ras Laffan Industrial City.
A number of Oryx GTL employees participated in the event, which was aimed at cleaning and preserving one of Qatar’s best nesting spots for hawksbill turtles.
In a press statement, Oryx GTL said it participates in the campaign as it is committed to achieving Qatar National Vision 2030 and keen to preserve the country’s non-renewable resources, prevent environmental pollution, reduce waste production and work on recycling it.
“Oryx GTL has always strived to achieve excellence and continuous improvement in production processes to make the company’s products environment-friendly. This has been demonstrated by the fact that it has received numerous of high-level certificates at the level of oil and gas companies around the world,” the statement added.
