Alfardan Sports Motors, the official dealer for Ferrari in Qatar, unveiled the brand-new 812 Superfast at the five-day Qatar Motor Show 2017, taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Powered by a new 6.5-litre V12, the vehicle achieves its maximum power output at 8,500rpm with a maximum speed of 340kph, springing from 0-100kph in 2.9 seconds.
Designed as the flagship V12 Berlinetta, the model embodies Ferrari’s revered V12 heritage that sprung to life in 1947, with the birth of the brand.
Its timely world premiere at Geneva Motor Show, followed by the Qatar Motor Show, coincides with Ferrari’s 70th anniversary celebrations this year, building on its recognition as the only manufacturer to have continuously produced sports cars with 12-cylinder engines throughout that time.
The 812 Superfast further impresses with its trendy silhouette and a radically redesigned cabin that reveals its sportier DNA.
It is the first Ferrari to feature the Electric Power Steering, which when integrated with all of the electronic vehicle dynamics controls can fully exploit the performance of the car.
The vehicle also sees the debut of the Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 system that improves the agility and response time to steering wheel inputs.
