Bedaya Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Centre), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, held the ‘Brand Identity & Packaging’ networking event at the Doha Fire Station ‘Matafi’. 
The event saw participation of a number of companies specialising in the field of brand identity, packaging, and wrapping.
Also, pioneers and experts spoke before startups, entrepreneurs, and visitors about the importance of brand identity for their companies and projects, and the significance of packaging and wrapping in creating a good image for their firms.
The discussion focused on the concept of brand identity for startups, companies, and projects, which comprises tools such as logo, booklets and manuals, colours and fonts, website, and pages on social media platforms, among others.
The event also tackled the challenges of finding good packaging, which has become as an indicator of success for companies in promoting their products.
Packaging has become a leading marketing tool used to increase the popularity of products and demand. 
Bedaya Centre general manager Reem al-Suwaidi said: “We always strive to provide the best tools, ways, and solutions that will help support startups and entrepreneurs to cement their position in the local market and move into foreign markets in future stages.”
She added: “Brand identity and packaging are two of the most important tools which support the vision and ambitions of the project owners and help them reach their objectives and meet their goals. 
“Keeping this in mind, we decided to dedicate one of our networking events to this topic, in collaboration with experts from this field. This will eventually help all participants to develop and enhance their businesses.”
