A new local road to connect the Industrial Area Road with Bu Samra Street will be opened on Wednesday.
Commuters who have been using the road between the Industrial Area Road and Balhambar Street can now use the 400m stretch of Umm al Seneem Street. The new road will have three lanes in each direction.
From tomorrow (March 23), a diversion on Balhambar Street will route traffic to the newly opened road (as shown on the map). The permanent diversion is in co-ordination with the Traffic Police Department.
The diversion is being made to enable completion of New Industrial Area Road, which is part of the Development of Rawdat Al Khail Extension Street Project.
