HSBC Qatar business customers can now benefit from ‘Touch ID log on’ to gain “quicker and easier” access to their account and balance information through the HSBCnet Mobile app.
The ‘Touch ID log on’ feature uses a recognised fingerprint instead of passwords and is quick and easy to set up.
Richard J Keery, head (Commercial Banking) at HSBC in Qatar said, “Our business customers are increasingly using their mobile devices to access their account information and transact. The launch of Touch ID log on represents an important step towards biometric banking and brings the benefits of more secure and more convenient mobile banking services to our business customers.”
More than 100,000 business customers are currently using the app globally and the number of customers in Qatar is increasing.  
Touch ID log on is now available to corporate and commercial banking customers in Qatar using compatible Apple mobile devices.
