Remains of a burnt car left on a street in Lauk kai, along the China-Myanmar border in the northern Shan state of Myanmar.  More than 20,000 Myanmar refugees have entered China, fleeing areas along the border after violent clashes broke out between the southeast Asian country’s army and ethnic rebels this week.
