Water supply to be restored: Kahramaa
The water shortage at some areas in Doha’s Najma, due to the ongoing maintenance work to improve the supply, is expected to abate with immediate effect, the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation’s (Kahramaa) water emergency call centre said. However, some residents of Umm Ghuwalina have also complained of a water shortage over the past two months. “We have been depending on water tankers to fill our home tanks,” a resident of a housing complex with more than 150 flats told Gulf Times.
