Ooredoo has launched an enhanced Office 365 service designed specifically for small companies as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to help Qatar’s businesses go digital.
Office 365 is the “best-of-breed” productivity suite by Microsoft, which includes professional e-mail, storage, enterprise video conferencing, and document processing tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
It provides a modular approach for companies, so that they can build their own solution designed specifically to meet their daily business needs.
With the new Ooredoo Office 365 business packages, companies can choose a host of optional add-ons, making it easier for them to upgrade and adapt their solution.
Depending on the requirement, customers can opt for email archiving, Microsoft Office suite, remote device management, in addition to 50GB of e-mail storage per user, 1TB of ‘OneDrive’ storage, Sharepoint, Ransomware Protection and Email Migration Support.
The new Ooredoo Office 365 business packages are also available on a monthly billing option, with no yearly commitment.
The service is particularly useful for companies with a mobile workforce, enabling them to take the office with them wherever they are, managing business communications across multiple devices and enabling employees to create and edit documents on-the-go and in real-time with colleagues. It supports mobile productivity, mobile collaboration and mobile data protection, with a host of security features.
Ooredoo Qatar chief operating officer Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi said: “Office 365 is an important tool for companies in Qatar, as they can boost their business without the hassle of having to buy and install software.
“A major part of our focus for 2017 is enabling Qatar’s businesses to do business digitally, taking their services to a global audience and empowering their employees and customers with self-service and self-care options.
The enhanced Office 365 service will provide a vital tool in this area, as it offers small businesses tools once reserved to big corporations, at a fraction of the cost.”
This upgrade is one of a number of service revamps planned for the company in 2017, as Ooredoo strives to be the ICT provider of choice for businesses in Qatar.
Ooredoo has already seen great demand and momentum for the Office 365 service, as companies in Qatar embrace the go-digital solution from Ooredoo.
