Milaha posts net profit of QR711mn
Qatar Navigation (Milaha) has posted a net profit of QR711mn in 2016 on revenues of QR2.55bn, the company announced last night. Milaha’s operating revenue for 2016 was QR2.5bn compared with QR2.98bn reported in the previous year. The company’s operating profit in 2016 was QR555mn compared to QR855mn in the previous year. Earnings per share for 2016 was QR6.26 compared to QR9.63 in the previous year, a company statement showed.

Azerbaijan president arrives today
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will arrive in Doha today on an official visit to Qatar. HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and the Azeri president will hold talks at the Emiri Diwan tomorrow pertaining to bilateral relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them.
