Emir chairs SC board meeting
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday chaired the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy for the year 2017, held at the Emiri Diwan. HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Personal Representative of HH the Emir and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister and Board Member Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, and other members of the Board also attended the meeting. Discussions covered the latest developments and the progress achieved in the projects for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup over the past months. The meeting also touched on investment opportunities concerning Ras Abu Aboud stadium.

Emir, Bahrain crown prince review ties
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held a telephone a conversation with Prince Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifah, crown prince, deputy supreme commander and first deputy premier of the Kingdom of Bahrain. They reviewed fraternal ties between the two countries and means of boosting and enhancing them in addition to discussing a set of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
