LuLu Hypermarket Barwa City recently hosted an event for ‘The Lulu Creative Club’, an activity to promote creativity among children between four to 14 years.
The event was organised in partnership with Music Lounge Events. It offered a free art workshop, an art gallery and also a contest for art. 
“The aim was to encourage a passion for art and creativity and also to develop art as a hobby that will contribute to the mental well-being of the consumers,” said LuLu Group regional manager Shanavas.
The club started with the workshop at 10am at the food court. The club lasted for the entire day with the participants enjoying music, art, dining and shopping.
Music Lounge director Jaisen George recalled that though the registrations started only a few days ago, the seats filled almost immediately.
“We had to ask the LuLu management for additional time to ensure that all participants got a chance to attend the workshop and compete in the art contest,” he said. 
The winners were selected from three categories; Junior, intermediate and senior. The winners, in the order of first, second and third, respectively: Junior – Mohamed Sinan Khan, Malavikamitra Sagar, Cinderella Valenka; Intermediate – Waseem Ahmed, Minha Manaf and Shaza Suhail, Nivan Kuruvila Ajith; Senior – Parthiv Das, Anupama Deepak and Maisa Ismail, Sanjith S H and Faiha Ismail.
Prizes were awarded by Shanavas, Hypermarket Operations general manager Mohamed Basheer, LuLu Barwa City general manager Farook, LuLu Group marketing executive Shihab, LuLu Barwa Department Store manager Joy and Music Lounge managing director Santhosh and chairman John Thomas.
The evening celebrations were also accompanied by live music from the Music Lounge Junior Band with Siddarth and Abhay on guitar, Karun on drums and Jerin Jose on keyboard.
