As in the last 13 years, regulars Devji aurum is making its presence felt at the Doha Jewellery and Exhibition this year as well, thanks to their impressively designed stall at Alfardan pavilion.
Operators of one of the first jewellery chains of the Gulf region, the more than six-decade-old jeweller has exhibited a series of creations, suited to cater mainly to the requirements of the region’s customers.
Apart from the numerous aesthetically designed necklaces adoring the company’s showcases at the pavilion, Devji aurum have also displayed an array of diamond studded “Dances of the Desert” ear ring pieces. The company’s regional director Kapil Dasani has no doubt that their close business ties with an established jeweller as Alfardan Jewellery has helped them understand the requirements of Qatar market remarkably well over the year.
The Allure models of necklaces the jeweller has exhibited are made to meet the tastes of Qatari women. The company official said their studies have found the local women have a special passion for long necklaces unlike in other parts of the Gulf.
“Our loyal craftsmen, many of whom are in the third generation with our company, know the actual requirements of the local market  much better  than most others. As a result, most of the pieces displayed here are made to meet the tastes of our Qatari and other regional clientele,” added Dasani.
