Qatar is set to experience yet another cold and windy spell Saturday when the maximum temperature is expected to dip to 19C from Friday’s peak of 25C, according to the Met department forecast.

The minimum temperature for the day is expected to be 13C (Mesaieed, Wakrah, Al Khor, Abu Samra) in contrast to yesterday’s 17C (Ruwais).
There is an inshore warning of strong wind over most areas and slight dust at places. The offshore warning adds high sea too.
Inshore, the northwesterly wind could reach up to 28 knots at places at times, while offshore, it could touch 38 knots at places.
Waves are expected to rise to 5ft inshore at places and up to 15ft at places offshore.
The cold snap is on account of a Siberian high-pressure system, expected to affect the country from dawn on Saturday. It will be accompanied by “northwesterly fresh to strong winds over all areas”.
The minimum and maximum temperatures expected on Saturday: Mesaieed, Wakrah (13C, 18C); Doha (16C, 19C); Al Khor (13C, 18C); Ruwais (15C, 17C); Dukhan (14C, 16C); Abu Samra (13C, 19C).
