HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met with Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and his accompanying delegation at the Emiri Diwan yesterday. During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and means to develop them besides a host of issues of common concern. President Hadi briefed the Emir on the latest developments in Yemen and the international efforts for supporting legitimate government in the country. He expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir, and the State of Qatar for generously contributing to realising security and stability in Yemen, especially supporting the electricity sector. The Emir affirmed that Qatar will continue its efforts to resolve the Yemeni crisis, and its support for the legitimate government as well as its keenness on Yemen’s unity and stability.
