Mouawad, in collaboration with Qatar Charity (QC), has launched its ‘Hand in Hand’ initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged children in the country through the sale of specially-made bracelets.
Organised under the Robert Mouawad Foundation’s ‘philanthropic mission’, the initiative will make a difference in a child’s life for each purchase of a custom designed bracelet.
Part of the proceeds of each bracelet are donated to QC with the sole focus of advancing children’s education and upbringing.
“The bracelets designed for the ‘Hand in Hand’ initiative are made with the intention of taking action on behalf of children in need while highlighting the spirit of goodwill,” Mouawad co-guardian Pascal Mouawad said.
QC community partnership director Hamid Alaeddin Shehadeh welcomed the initiative stressing that providing care and education to underprivileged children was at the core of QC’s humanitarian and developmental work in Qatar and abroad.
Thanking Mouawad for their initiative, Shehadeh also pointed out that QC was determined on further pursuing such collaborations with private and public institutions to achieve its humanitarian goals.
In a statement, Mouawad noted that it has been creating exceptional moments that are forever cherished as lifetime memories for more than 126 years.
Making a thoughtful and beautiful gift for a loved one, Mouawad said the bracelets stylishly express the art of giving in a compassionate fashion.
