After a successful tour of England in the summer of 2016, Qatar’s leading cricket academy, Stallions CA, concluded yet another successful international cricket tour to the UAE in December.
It was the sixth International tour for the Stallions in the last two years. Stallions played more than 12 matches against competitive opponents from various cricket academies in the UAE during the December 15-19 tour. The 27 players, in the age group of Under-11 and Under-14, were managed by senior coaches Lahiru Chathuranga, Nilantha Abeyrathne, Ashan Perera and head coach Sidath Tennakoon.
The academy next plans to take the boys to Australia, South Africa, India, Malaysia and Singapore in the future. Stallions also recently opened branches in Singapore and Dubai. The new cricket season for Stallions has already started at their practice locations at Sherborne School and Pak Shamaa School.
The summer tour to Australia is scheduled during first week of July. For more details, check out www.stallionsqatar.com/70030491
