cables to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani condoling the death of former Iranian president and chairman of the expediency council Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani.
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have also sent condolences to President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa on the death of former Portuguese president Mario Soares.

discusses real
estate brokerage
The Advisory Council yesterday held its weekly session under the chairmanship of HE the Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi.
HE the Secretary General Fahad bin Mubarak al-Khayareen read the agenda, which was approved before the council ratified the minutes of its previous meeting.
The Council reviewed a draft law to organise real estate brokerage and referred it to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee.
Meanwhile, the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee of the Advisory Council held a meeting yesterday under its rapporteur Nasser Rashid Seraye al-Kaabi.
The committee reviewed the law to organising real estate brokerage and decided to discuss it further at another meeting.

HE the speaker of the Advisory Council Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi met the Cuban ambassador to Qatar Emilio Caballero Rodriguez yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed parliamentary relations between the two countries.
