Ooredoo has yesterday been named an Official Sponsor of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2017, which will be held from today until 7 January 2017.
The 2017 is set to be a special year for the tournament as it is the fifth year that Ooredoo has supported the world-class sporting event and the 25 anniversary of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open contest. This year Star players featuring at the tournament include world No. 1 Andy Murray, the defending champion and world No. 2 Novak Djokovic, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, the 2012 champion and Tomas Berdych among many others.
The Qatar ExxonMobil Open tournament is the first of the season and gives players a chance to warm up and prepare for the 2017 grand-slams including the Australian Open, held two weeks later in Melbourne, Australia.
Ooredoo will be the telecommunications partner for the event, providing media areas and offices with world-class global connectivity, and supporting visitors and fans with incredible 3G, 4G and 4G+ broadband services on the Ooredoo Supernet.
