Qatar Chamber and CCPIT Ningxia of China signed a Memorandum of Understanding yesterday to enhance co-operation and exchange information on companies from both sides and obtain information on available investment opportunities.
The signing came after the two sides held a meeting to discuss the scope for co-operation and giving a presentation on the Arab-States China Expo 2017.
Vice-Chairman of Qatar Chamber Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Towar stressed the importance of co-operation between Qatari businessmen and their counterparts in Ningxia.
He highlighted that the chamber had hosted several Chinese delegations over the past two years with the aim of enhancing trade ties and getting to know the available investment opportunities.
He also noted that Qatar hosted the Made in China Exhibition last October for the second time.
Qatar Chamber also held a meeting with the national training commission at the Council of Saudi Chambers, the representative of all training centres in Saudi Arabia yesterday.
