Vodafone Qatar has enhanced its Passport Pack and launched a new Passport Card, the telecom provider announced yesterday.
The Vodafone Passport Pack now includes 100 roaming minutes allowing customers to make calls in the country they are in, calls to any other country, calls back to any operator in Qatar and to receive incoming calls. Once a customer exhausts the 100 minutes, a rate of QR1 per minute will apply until the expiry of the Pack.
The Vodafone Passport Pack which works on all operators across 78 countries also allows customers to enjoy up to 2GB of data at QR100 per week with the ‘widest 4G coverage while roaming.’ This comes at no extra cost to the current Vodafone roaming rates; all customers have to do is enable 4G and data roaming on their smartphone. Customers can activate Vodafone Passport Pack by dialling *110*110# or through the My Vodafone App.
The new Vodafone Passport Card has the same benefits as the Vodafone Passport Pack, with the added benefit of giving prepaid and enterprise customers the option of topping up as much as they need and activating multiple cards at the same time.
If a customer runs out of their data/minutes, they can top up another card. Alternatively, if they want double the amount of data they can buy two cards and top up twice at the same time. In addition, the Vodafone Passport Card can be pre-purchased and used whenever the customer wants. The Vodafone Passport Card can be purchased from all Vodafone’s retail stores, Vodafone’s Online Store, all E-Top up locations, and WHSmith at Hamad
International Airport.
Following these enhancements the Vodafone Passport Pack and the Card offer up to 2GB Data (1GB in 78 countries + 1GB in GCC) and 100 minutes to make and receive calls while roaming on all operators in 78 countries for QR100/week.
