Jewellery retail chain Joyalukkas has opened its second showroom in the US in Edison, New Jersey. 
Thomas Lankey, mayor of Edison, inaugurated the showroom on December 17 in the presence of Antony Jos, director of Joyalukkas Group; Aniyan George, Kerala Chamber of Commerce of North America president; Jiby Thomas, Federation of Malayalee Associations of Americas secretary; Bishop Joy Alappatt, Syro Malabar Diocese North America; Dilip Verghese; Francy Verghese, GM - Joyalukkas US operations; and other dignitaries. A number of local VIPs as well as company executives were also in 
attendance. 
The first Joyalukkas showroom in the US was opened at Hillcroft, Houston on November 19. The retailer stressed in a press statement that the opening of the second showroom in New Jersey was part of the group’s “aggressive expansion plans, which also include the opening of a third showroom in the US in Chicago in the next few months”. 
The Edison store showcases a mix of traditional, ethno contemporary and 
international designs.
