After two successful events, How Women Work (HWW) is bringing another unique seminar to town.
Conducted by Evridiki Iliaki, a certified business and life coach, the seminar will deal with the subject of food as medicine and how it can contribute to one’s success.
“Food is your medicine, medicine is your food, let food make you successful” will be held at City Centre Rotana in West Bay on December 10 (tomorrow). Iliaki will share her personal journey on how she lost 30 kilos and cured herself from a serious medical condition and how if you can eat healthy long-term, food can really help you be super fit, confident, radiant and successful.
“It will be an investment for a healthier and more successful life. It is part a series of seminars that will help people evolve in order to be fulfilled,” says Iliaki.
After 15 years of professional experience on helping people setting and achieving goals, Iliaki will deliver the talk that she says “you would not want to miss.”
There will be two more seminars to complete the course, which gives all the information and tools that are needed to be inspired to start a new, successful, healthy and balanced life. Women who have participated in at least three seminars in the series will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
The participants will also have ‘streams’ to choose from in the future, which include conferences such as “How Women Find Work”, HWW’s popular March conference on Woman’s Day (March 8), and other events for entrepreneurs, executives, employees and jobseekers.
How Women Work was primarily a group formed in 2009 to support women find work, grow and succeed in Qatar. Through its networking conferences, seminars and training workshops, HWW has helped more than 7,300 women find success.
Coming from Greece, and having studied and researched counselling psychology for more than six years in United Kingdom (UK), Iliaki is a certified life and business coach with over 15 years of experience. She has started the ‘Hippocrates Success and Wellness Programme’ in Qatar, which is a series of four seminars that started in October.
The seminars provide the people with techniques and tools, including visualisation and breathing techniques, that they can utilise to find a balance between successful personal and professional life. The funds generated from the registration fee from these seminars go towards funding the women’s support group.
This year is about success and wellness, says Iliaki. “If women do not feel healthy in both body and mind, success will not come basically,” says the HWW leader, explaining the importance of the issue.
HWW is also collaborating with others to make the platform more fruitful for the women approaching it for assistance. It has announced collaboration with Hamad Bin Khali University College of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean Dr Amal al-Malki.
“So this year we are having our 8th annual conference with them on the 8th of March. HWW has formed several noteworthy collaborations, such as those with Pakistan Business Forum in Qatar and the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC),” says the HWW head.
The new president of ICC, Milan Arun has also been invited to be one of the speakers for their annual conference in March.
“This year we would like to bring all forces together as symbolising that real, strong women should stand together and support each other. HWW wants to be the ambassador of bringing all major communities of Qatar together,” says Iliaki.
“With the support of leading women figures of our community we want to spread the message that women should stand together; not compete, not tear each other apart. Let us all be part of our mutual success and wellness and create miracles and actions that will create a better world for the youth and a better future for all,” says the HWW head.
