Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces HE Major General Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem met yesterday separately with Brigadier General Salah Harrathi, the Tunisian Naval and Air Military Attache to Qatar and Lieutenant-General Stephen Bowes command of the Canadian Joint Operations and their accompanying delegations.
Talks during the meetings dealt with matters of common interest, especially in the areas of military co-operation.
Envoy presents credentials
President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite has received the credentials of Ahmed bin Saif Saif Khalaf al-Moudadi, non-resident ambassador of Qatar to Lithuania. Ambassador al-Moudadi conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the president of Lithuania.
Qatar, Nepal ties reviewed
Foreign Minister of Nepal Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has met with Qatar’s ambassador Yousef bin Mohamed al-Hail.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them, in addition to matters of common interest.
