Strong winds are expected in the country on Sunday, the Qatar Met department has said. Offshore areas, too, are likely to see strong winds along with high seas.

Northwesterly winds will blow at a speed of 10-20 knots, reaching a high of 28 knots in some places at times. In offshore, the wind speed will be 18-25 knots, going up to 28 knots.
The detailed forecast says it will be hazy in some inshore areas in the early hours of the day, followed by mild daytime conditions with slight to blowing dust in some places at times. It will be relatively cold by night, according to the weather report.
Slight dust is also expected in offshore areas at times, while the sea level may rise to 10ft.
A minimum temperature of 19C is expected Saturday in Abu Samra, while in Doha it will be 21C. On Saturday, a minimum temperature of 17C was recorded in Abu Samra, followed by 19C in Al Khor, Karana and other places. In the capital, the minimum was 22C in the Qatar University area.
