The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) held a meeting for its partners to discuss the five-pledge plan launched by the different state institutions to execute the infrastructure projects required for hosting the 2022 World Cup.

Representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Qatar Tourism Authority, Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and Hamad International Airport were present for the meeting that took place at SC premises.
The five points include approving the structural guidelines for the development and organisational standards for people with disabilities in buildings and facilities, which will be the responsibility of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment. The Ministry of Transport and Communications will be in charge of a guide for people with movement disability on how to use public transport from and to the airport.
Hamad International Airport and Qatar Tourism Authority will be responsible for training airport and hospitality staff on how to handle people with disabilities. Meanwhile, the SC will be in charge of integrating them in the World Cup volunteer programmes.
A working mechanism will be set up to ensure the participation of the people with disabilities in the planning and execution of the forum’s participant entities through workshops held throughout the year.
