Online sales of tickets for the 2017 Qatar ExxonMobil Open, the 25th Anniversary edition, will start today on the organiser’s website www.qatartennis.com.
The event, which will be held from January 2 to 7 at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex, is attracting some of the biggest names in men’s tennis including world No. 1 Andy Murray, the defending champion and world No. 2 Novak Djokovic, the 2012 champion Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Tomas Berdych among many others.
“Over the years, the Qatar Exxon Mobil Open has developed to be one of the most sorts after tennis tournament in the region. We are very happy to welcome the world once again to Doha for the silver anniversary edition of this prestigious tournament,” the tournament director Karim Alami said.
“Once again, lovers of tennis will have the opportunity of watching their stars, including the recently crowned world No.1 Andy Murray, play live and direct in Doha. This year’s event promises to be greater than the previous and the fans will definitely have a swell time,” he said.
