HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met the Foreign Minister of Cuba Bruno Rodriguez in Doha yesterday. They discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them as well as ways to enhance the prospects of co-operation especially in the fields of economy and investment and a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest. The Foreign Minister expressed hope during the meeting of strengthening the partnership between Qatar and Cuba. The Cuban foreign minister expressed his gratitude to Qatar for its vote in favour of the General Assembly resolution, which was adopted on October 26, about lifting the economic, commercial and financial sanctions on Cuba.
