Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs HE Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud met the Minister of Mines, Industry and Energy of Equatorial Guinea, Gabriel M Obiang Lima, on the sidelines of his visit to Equatorial Guinea leading  Qatar’s delegation to the 4th Africa-Arab Summit, due to open here today.
During the meeting, they discussed relations between Qatar and Equatorial Guinea and ways of enhancing them in various fields, and exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
HE al-Mahmoud and his accompanying delegation were greeted upon arrival at Malabo International Airport, by Equatorial Guinea’s Prime Minister Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, Interior Minister Clemente Engonga, and Director of Arab Affairs Department at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs Saad Ali al-Mohannadi
The summit focuses on promoting Arab-African co-operation in the next stage at various economic and political levels as well as the co-ordination of common issues.
