Alfardan Automobiles is celebrating two decades of a successful partnership with the BMW Group.
In line with the 20th anniversary, the BMW importer in Qatar has announced exclusive offers on the BMW X6 and X5 to mark the occasion. Customers looking to purchase one of the models will receive BMW Service for five years/60,000km (whichever comes first), up to five years’ warranty or 200,000km (whichever comes first) and one-year free insurance. 
In 1996, Alfardan Automobiles was recognised as the official BMW Group importer in Qatar, giving the company legal rights to import and sell BMW cars throughout the country. 
The business soon began to flourish thanks to Alfardan Automobiles’ reputation, years of expertise within the automotive industry and investments in new 
state-of-the-art BMW and MINI showrooms and after-sales facilities in Qatar, Alfardan Automobiles said in a press statement yesterday.
Ihab Allam, general manager of Alfardan Automobiles, said: “We are delighted to have reached this milestone and I would like to thank our customers for their unwavering loyalty and support over the years. I also want to thank the BMW Group, whose guidance and support, together with its premium and luxurious products, has enabled us to grow and develop.”
Alfardan Automobiles has witnessed a successful journey so far, supporting the robust growth and prosperity of the BMW Group in Qatar, with a 75% increase in total BMW and MINI units being sold in the past decade, the statement noted, stressing that the impressive sales numbers could be credited to the popularity of the X5, X6 and 7 Series among Qatar-based customers. 
Both performance sub-brands - BMW M and MINI John Cooper Works - have also performed strongly through Alfardan Automobiles, which has achieved pole position in the region in the sales of both. 
The partnership between Alfardan Automobiles and BMW Group started with the Al Sadd showroom and a service facility in the Doha Industrial Area. As a consequence of considerable increase in demand over the years, Alfardan Automobiles invested in a new showroom in the West Bay area in 2008, along with an expansion of the after-sales service facilities to accommodate the growth of Qatar-based customers. 
With the West Bay showroom currently following the BMW brand corporate identity, the Al Sadd showroom will soon follow and be renovated and brand-aligned.
Over the past 20 years, Alfardan Automobiles has managed to “provide quality service consistently and integrated transparency and convenience in all areas of customer and stakeholder relations”, the statement added.
