Ezdan World Company, a subsidiary of Ezdan Holding Group, is anticipating a 30% rise in the number of visitors to Magical Festival Village in the coming season as compared to the previous one.
The first season witnessed “great success”, with a daily average of more than 7,000 visitors on weekdays and 19,000 during weekends, according to a press statement.
The Magical Festival Village comprises a selection of games appealing to all age categories and people with different preferences, a lineup of restaurants and cafes spread over wide areas, and commercial outlets showcasing prominent brands of clothes, perfumes and other products. The Magical Festival Village’s design is inspired by the “world’s most fascinating recreational villages”, developed by a group of well-known engineers and experts in the field of entertainment who have laid emphasis “on selecting the most prominent commercial outlets and the most exciting and thrilling recreational festivals, carnivals and games”, the statement notes.

He added that the Magical Festival Village’s events would receive thousands of visitors, exceeding the first season’s numbers, in particular from Qatar and the GCC region.
Some 70% of visitors in the first season, which took place at the beginning of the current year, were Qatari and GCC citizens, 20% were Arabs from other countries and 10% belonged to other nationalities, the statement further pointed out. The village included 400 outlets, of which 75% were rented due to the facilities provided by the company for the participants in addition to the turnout, it was observed.
“Activities started at a time when the weather was more pleasant in Qatar, with the village opening its gates from the beginning of winter until the end of spring,” said al-Mohannadi.
He noted that the project was designed to include all services and recreational facilities in one place spread over an area of 50,000sqm. It serves as an attraction for children and adults of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds, helping increase the number of visitors to Qatar. The village also boasts of an entertainment venue for women, the Ladies Boulevard, with commercial outlets showcasing the top products of world-class designers.
Al-Mohannadi said interested parties were welcome to rent the village’s commercial outlets through the rent agreement available on the Magical Festival Village’s website, or through contacting 3022 6029/7775 1616/5518 1348, in addition to the possibility for a single client to rent more than one commercial unit, thanks to the Project Management that is facilitating the village’s rental conditions.
