Al Wakrah Municipality and Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of sustainable development.
The MoU was signed by Al Wakrah Municipality director Mansour Ajran al-Buainain, and QGBC director Meshal al-Shamari.
The MoU is aimed at spreading awareness on sustainability in urban environment, providing training and exchange of technical support to benefit each other through expertise and experiences of local and international partners.
In addition, the MoU would aim at conducting related researches for the benefit of all the involved parties.
