Qatari Primary Materials Company (QPMC) has signed a contract with Britain’s TRL to recycle construction waste and co-operate in environmental studies. The agreement also involves the two sides undertaking practical solutions to turn local construction waste, of demolished old buildings for example, to usable products in building development, infrastructure and others.
The two sides will start their co-operation in the first quarter of 2017.
Commenting on the deal,  QPMC’s CEO,  Eisa al-Hammadi, said  the agreement was part of the company’s strategy of placing sustainable development and envir onmental protection at the heart of its operations.
