Ooredoo, in partnership with Osool Media, has announced the official launch of a new service that will enable Ooredoo customers to buy popular electronic online gift vouchers, such as Skype credit, Facebook vouchers and more, via Ooredoo’s nationwide self-service machine (SSM) network.
The partnership, which was signed in January by Ooredoo’s Chief Sales and Services Officer, Ahmad Abdulaziz al-Neama, and Osool Media managing director Nayef Eissa Rashwan, will give online access to Ooredoo customers to a variety of Internet games, play stores, and mobile vouchers via the company’s SSMs.
“Thanks to the launch purchasing Skype credit, Facebook vouchers, and more, it will now be easier than ever before for Ooredoo customers. SSM users simply have to select the service and amount needed, input the voucher recipient’s phone number, and pay by cash or credit/debit card 24/7 to purchase a voucher,” Ooredoo said in a statement.
Ooredoo said vouchers are now available for services such as iTunes, Xbox, Skype, Facebook, Steam, Visa Prepaid Cards, PlayStation, eBay, Amazon and Google, as well as entertainment voucher cards for all iOS, Android and Blackberry devices.
Once purchased, customers will receive a confirmation receipt showing the product selected, denomination, and the service number. The voucher code will then be sent to the customer through SMS to redeem.
In addition to buying online vouchers via the Ooredoo SSM, customers can also pay Ooredoo Shahry and Kahramaa bills, purchase Hala prepaid SIM cards, top-up Hala accounts, and purchase vouchers for a range of shopping and dining experiences for popular brands in Qatar.
