More winds and dust are expected in the country on Tuesday, the Qatar Met department has said.

As forecast by the weather office earlier, Qatar has been experiencing a windy and dusty spell over the past few days along with high temperatures.
On Tuesday, strong winds are expected over most areas in the country during the daytime, along with poor visibility in some places due to dusty conditions.
Offshore areas, too, are likely to see strong winds and high seas in the early hours. On Saturday, the Met department had said fresh to strong northwesterly winds were expected to affect most parts of the country until today due to the extension of the “Indian monsoon low” over the region.
In view of the prevailing conditions, the weather office has re-issued an advisory - prepared in co-ordination with the Ministry of Public Health and available on the Met department’s Twitter page - that provides tips on how to stay safe during dusty conditions.
The forecast for inshore areas today also says it will be “hot to very hot” during the day with some clouds and slight to blowing dust at times.
Slightly dusty conditions are expected in offshore areas, too, where the sea level may rise to 7/8ft.
According to the forecast, the wind speed may reach a high of 28 knots in some inshore areas during the day before decreasing by night.
In offshore areas, it will go up to 25 knots.
Visibility, meanwhile, may drop to 3km or less in some places at times.
Meanwhile, the highest temperature in Qatar yesterday was 46C, which was recorded in the Doha airport area, Al Rayyan and Messaied, followed by 45C in the Qatar University area and Sheehaniya, among other places.
The maximum temperature forecast in the country today is 46C in places such as Doha, Messaied and Wakrah, while it be 45C in Al Khor.
