Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia met yesterday with HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani at Al Safa Palace in Makkah.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the prime minister conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and HH the Emir’s wishes of more development and growth to the Saudi monarch and the fraternal Saudi people.
In turn, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques entrusted HE the premier with his greetings and wishes of health and happiness to HH the Emir and further wishes of progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.
The meeting reviewed the existing brotherly ties between the two fraternal countries.
Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Mohamed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, attended the meeting from the Saudi side along with Prince Khalid al-Faisal, adviser of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and governor of Makkah Region.
HE the prime minister and minister of interior had attended the Iftar banquet held by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in honour of HE the premier and the accompanying delegation.
HE the prime minister also met with Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Mohamed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.
The meeting reviewed the existing brotherly ties between the two fraternal countries and means of boosting and developing them, in addition to a set of issues of mutual interest.
Earlier, HE the prime minister and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah by Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, and Qatar’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer al-Thani.
