The Indian embassy has announced that it will render full consular and other services from its new premises in Onaiza with effect from Monday.

In a press statement, the embassy said its officials were able to ‘swiftly accomplish’ the relocation to Villa No 86 & 90, Street No 941, Al Eithra Street, Zone 63, Onaiza, Doha.

Normal consular and other services could not be rendered on three working days (June 22, 23 and 26) but the embassy ‘promptly attended to emergency cases even during the period of relocation’, the statement noted.

Consular services, as on any working day, were also rendered to applicants for non-emergency cases who visited the new premises yesterday.

The embassy expressed gratitude for the support and co-operation of the authorities concerned in the Government of Qatar for its relocation to the new premises. It also thanked Ooredoo chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Saud al-Thani and the Ooredoo team for their support in installing communications on the new premises.

Telephone/fax numbers and email addresses of various offices/sections of the embassy remain the same as are already available on its website - www.indianembassyqatar.gov.in

The timings of the consular section until September 15 are as follows: 8am to 11.15am – submission of applications, and 3pm to 4.15pm - collection of documents after rendering of consular service.
