HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday issued the following instruments of ratification:
1. Approving a draft agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, special and service passports between the governments of Qatar and Venezuela signed in Caracas on 25/11/2015.
2. Approving a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for co-operation in the legal field between the Ministries of Justice of Qatar and Jordan signed in Amman on 21/02/2016.
3. Approving a draft co-operation agreement between the governments of Qatar and Oman in the field of security signed in Doha on 26/04/2016.
4. Approving a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for co-operation in the field of agriculture between the governments of Qatar and Azerbaijan signed in Baku on 08/03/2016.
5. Approving a draft agreement for co-operation in the cultural field between the governments of Qatar and the Russian Federation signed in Moscow on 18/01/2016.
6. Approving the ratification of an agreement between the governments of Qatar and Turkey on mutual visa exemption for ordinary passport holders signed in Doha on 02/12/2015.
7. Approving the ratification of an agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and special passports between the governments of Qatar and Kazakhstan signed in Doha on 26/10/2015.

Cabinet decisions
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday ratified the following Cabinet Decisions: 1. No 19 of 2016 amending some provisions of the Decision No 17 of 2011 on naming the chairman and members of the Tax Appeal Committee, the organisation of its work and determining its rewards.
2. No 20 of 2016 amending some provisions of the Decision No 26 of 2003 on the Standing Committee of Recruitment.
3. No 21 of 2016 amending the organisation of certain Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs’ administrative units and defining its terms of reference.
